1. (Proper Noun-Neuter) a state run transport service provider within Assam and neighbouring states. Initially a department of Govt. of Assam,it was converted to a corporation in 1970. অসম চৰকাৰৰ অধীনত অসমৰ ভিতৰত আৰু ওচৰ চুবুৰীয়া ৰাজ্যৰ সৈতে বাছসেৱা আগবঢ়োৱা এটা পথ পৰিবহন নিগম৷ ই অসমৰ মূল পথ পৰিবহন ব্যৱস্থা৷
